These are challenging times for our community and our nation. We are grateful for your support for our critical mission.
For safety reasons, all donated supplies should be unopened and in their original packaging.
Although the CDC doesn’t recommend using homemade masks for COVID-19 patients unless it is a last resort, they do encourage covering the N95 respirators. A beard cover is something that can be homemade and used in this situation. United Way of Central Missouri is collecting homemade beard covers. Help the Helpers is coordinating with those who would like to sew beard covers. Those who would like to sew homemade beard covers, may contact Help the Helpers at helpthehelpers.us@gmail.com or their website: www.helpthehelpers.us.
We are grateful to our generous community, Help the Helpers and the United Way of Central Missouri for their care and concern. When dropping off your donations, please be sure to practice social distancing. Below are donation and drop-off details.
